This lane is supposed to be open during rush hour to help move traffic. Instead, we have this butthead blocking the left lane and another blocking the right, this road was effectively a one-lane street this morning.

This is a screenshot from Google street. The construction up ahead isn’t there any more, but it’s common for both the far left and right lanes to be blocked by someone.

I regret I don’t have a photo, but there’s an odd situation on a busy one-way, two-lane street around the corner from my employer. There are some what I assume to be cheap apartments, and in the street parking across from the apartments sits a large rolling cart like you might see in a hotel for the cleaning staff, filled with miscellany.

Every now and then during rush hour it is sitting, not in the parking spot, but in a lane, while the woman who I assume uses it during the day for...whatever...stands nearby talking to other low-income residents/homeless.

So very strange to see traffic backed up because it.

We should really stop letting these guys get away with stuff like this. Next thing you know they’ll think they can get away with shooting unarmed kids!

Having nearly been run over by a cop in a van (not on a call) whilst legally crossing the street, in a crosswalk, right in front of city hall I have learned that the rules don’t apply to them. I felt like I was playing a real-life game of Frogger, and if the cop didn’t stop I guess the rest of the populace didn’t think they needed to stop either...
